Course programme

Students undertaking the Graduate Diploma will take the same courses as those undertaking the first year of the Masters program - satisfactory completion will enable a student to transfer to the Masters program.
  Graduate Diploma students must complete core courses plus electives.

Graduate Diploma in Viticulture Example Study Plan All candidates shall complete the following core courses: Viticultural Science A (VITICULT 7002WT) Viticultural Science B (VITICULT 7021WT) Viticultural Methods & Procedures (VITICULT 7038WT) Introductory Winemaking (ONEOLOGY 7028WT) Candidates can select elective courses from the following: Engineering for Viticulture & Oenology B (VITICULT 7240WT) Plant Health A (PLANT SC 7245WT) Sensory Studies (OENOLOGY 7019WT) Topics in Soil and Land Systems (SOIL&WAT 7003WT) Soil and Plant Nutrition (PLANT SC 7240WT) Soil&Water: Management & Conservation (SOIL&WAT 7027WT) GIS for Agriculture & Natural Resource Management (SOIL&WAT 7030WT) Optional electives: Communicating Science (SCIENCE 7020) Wine and Food Marketing Principles (WINEMKTG 7055WT/EX) plus other electives from postgraduate programs offered by the Faculty, subject to approval by program coordinator.
Assessment Combination of written assignments, individual or group projects and exams.
