Course programme
The Master's degree is a two-year program that combines coursework and
research. Students have access to an impressive selection of graduate-level
courses on topics of active research. In parallel, they join a research group in
their area of interest and do intensive original research, culminating in an
M.Sc. thesis.
Ph.D.program
This is an intensive program in which students conduct and publish original
scientific research in one of the research groups led by a physics professor, with
the aim of becoming established as an independent creative researcher. During
the PhD program, doctoral students become experts in their chosen fields and
gain advanced knowledge and tools that are crucial to their development as
independent researchers. A small amount of additional coursework is typically
required for the PhD degree, as well as a written thesis.
