About this course

To learn the essential skills every designer must use to produce successful design that meet the business objectives.

Anyone working with graphics who wants to learn graphic design skills. This includes, marketing professionals, small business owners & managers, printers and even graphic design pros who want to brush up on their skills.
By the end of the course you will come away feeling more confident about your own creative abilities and applying them in every day situations.

There are no specific requirements. It is however recommended that participants are comfortable using Apple Mac or Windows.

A certificate of attendance is provided for career development.

Training Director

Tina was formally trained as a Graphic Designer. In 1982 she set up her own design and advertising business and in 1992 she shifted her focus of attention to providing multi-media training across a range of software applications on both Apple Macs and Windows, whilst at the same time continuing to practice on a day-to-day basis as a marketing and design consultant, diversifying and combining traditional marketing with the web-based e-marketing and in particular search engine optimisation. Today, she divides her time between running the business, training and her first love – design.

Learn the design skills and findamentals used by professional designers to create brochures, leaflets, adverts and all types of documents that a business needs to market itself professionally.

It is ideal for those who have no formal design training and require a greater appreciation of design and layout techniques and a greater knowledge of the print.

For a more expanded and practical course, we would recommend the Graphic Design for Business Masterclass which includes, practical exercises to enhance the theory using either Aodbe InDesign (recommended tool used by professional's) or Microsoft Office specifically Publisher or Word.

Additional information

Our short scheduled training courses are delivered by one of our vocationally trained experts (all our trainers practice in industry) in small groups - max of 6 persons although class size is typically 3-4, so that you gain a more personal and intensive training experience.  We actively encourage the attendees to bring with them examples of the type of work they need to produce, therefore making the course even more cost effective.

Shortcuts, hints and tips all help to ensure maximum productivity as soon as you get back to work. Your time is money and these workshop style courses can really help you save it!
