Steven Morrison
steven@proactivesafetytraining.co.uk
Our Director Steven Morrison has worked as a Door Supervisor since August 1987. This means that you are being trained by someone with over 23 years direct experience and who knows the industry better than any trainer. He delivers the course from a realworld and experiential point of view and can answer any questions that you may have. If you think of it in this way, who would you rather undertake training with? Someone that has never actually worked "the doors" or has any real experience of dealing with conflict management or high risk violence!
Course programme
Course review:
In order to work in close protection in the UK, close protection officers must have attended an accredited SIA close protection course, hold a valid Health & Safety Executive First Aid at Work certificate and passed a criminal background check.
The 15 day course, covers all key competencies mandatory for close protection operations, from threat and risk assessment to defensive driver training and communication and conflict management skills. The course also provides operatives with practical scenario exercises to give participants the chance to practice the skills and techniques they have been taught.
