Course description Designed to give you a comprehensive introduction to the hair and beauty industry by teaching you the skills and techniques to look after yourself, this Entry Level Diploma is an ideal place to begin for anyone who wants to find out what the industry is all about. Whilst the award and certificate qualifications in this subject let you choose from a variety of topics, to complete the diploma you'll need to take every unit on the course. You'll learn how to care for your own skin, your hands and your feet, and develop the necessary skills to apply your own make-up and paint your own nails. Practicing on yourself, you'll focus on hair care (including shampooing, conditioning and blow-drying) and personal hygiene.
