Two day course covers all aspects of finishing plasterboards to a smooth crack-free finish using Gyproc jointing systems ready for decoration. Suitable for: Anyone working in internal finishing and as a follow up course to the DriLyner and GypWall metal stud courses.

Course programme
Objectives
1. Be familiar with the different types of jointing materials.
2. Be able to select the correct type of joint tape and jointing materials.
3. Be able to finish joints and fix to an acceptable standard.
4. Be able to make good damage to linings.
5. Be able to seal or prime boards ready for decoration.
At the end of the course trainees will receive a Certificate of Attendance from the Drywall Academy as part evidence towards the relevant NVQ unit.
Suitability
No formal entry requirements but this course is a must for anyone working in internal finishing and as a follow up course to the DriLyner and GypWall metal stud courses.
Teaching method
Extensive practical work with one to one guidance from the instructors. Recapping knowledge questions at the end of the course.
Programme
Training begins at 9:30am on day one and finishes at 3:30pm on day two.
