Tutor - The Classroom on School Lane

has been “crafting” for as long as she can remember. She studied Sculpture at the University of Tennessee working with non-traditional materials. Jennifer's focus is on Textiles and Jewellery Making and she has been teaching and selling her wares for the past few years. She also has a small on-line fabric store and facilitates workshops as a freelance artist.

Course programme

In this beginner's class, you will learn to draft and sew your own mobile phone or mp3 player case, guaranteed to be completely unique to you.

We will start by measuring and drafting a pattern that will fit your device. You can then choose from a wide range of designer quilting fabrics and begin making your case.

Along the way you'll learn basic hand sewing skills in a fun and friendly environment.
