Medication Administration Training

A combination of presenting and group activities to ensure that the delegates have the underpinning knowledge and the ability to handle medication safely in the organisation. It will take a person centred approach to supporting service users and adheres to National guidance and best practice.

About this course

This course is designed to deliver high quality training to those working in Social care.
It is aimed at delegates who work within:
• Nursing Homes

• Domiciliary Care Agencies,

• Shared Lives (formerly Adult Placement)
• and Supported Living services.

The course is specifically designed to assist the delegate in handling medication safely and to assist the delegate in completing the Care Certificate.
Although this course is classroom based the delegate will have opportunities to practice handling medication and completing medication administration records
