Course programme
The result is a firm but fluid technique which is very effective and also popular with clients who tend to keep coming back for more! The training introduces the practical principles of using your forearm as a massage tool, including guiding it with your other hand and supporting it with good postural practices
It covers using the technique on the back as well as on the limbs
There is also tuition on use of both the ‘hard forearm’ and the elbow for more specific pressure techniques
The tutor will also provide guidance on the following points of learning: Where and how to incorporate these techniques for best use; How to moderate the pressure ;
Good body practices to avoid over use of your arms and shoulders;
Blending techniques smoothly into massage sessions
The aim is to expand your existing skill set and freshen your routine, whilst also helping you to maximise the effectiveness when applying pressure
Saving your hands will also ensure a long and sustainable career for you as a massage therapist! This is a fully insurable Practitioner qualification
