Hello and welcome to the Happy Kids Cooking Healthy course. Not just for vegetarians, this course is based off the book by Angela Poch, CN., "My Health, My Body" A Health & Nutrition Course for children 7 to 12 with an emphasis on a plant based diet.
You will learn how to cook delicious, easy dishes along with how your body functions and how to stay healthy. So watch the first lecture video - Introduction and download the attached supplementary material 'Children's Health Course intro'.
Making Pizza
The first real lesson in this course gets you started off with a delicious pizza. With two recipes on this video both younger children and older ones will learn how they can make their own healthy hot lunch! After you watch this cooking video lecture go on to Lecture 3 and learn more about your body functions!

As you can see there are video lessons for cooking and health lessons from the "My Health, My Body". This is your first health lesson. Download this lesson and you can even fill in the assignment (The answer key is in lecture 19 - Supplements & Appendix.)
Potato Soup
Here is the next video lesson! Learn to make a nutritious soup that has all you need for a healthy meal just add some carrot sticks or other fresh veggies. Then go on to your next health lesson in lecture 5 "My Mind Makes My Moods" from "My Health, My Body".

What kids doesn't like burgers and fries, but what parent isn't worried about the high saturated fat and empty calories. In this video cooking lesson learn to make a delicious, high protein, high fiber vegetarian burger. (PS: we also have a bean burger recipe attached so you don't have to purchase 'veggie meat' products. Enjoy!)

Yummy Macaroni and Cheese without the DAIRY!! If you can not eat cashews don't fear, download the recipe card under "downloadable materials" and on there we give you a nut free variation.
Fabulous Foods Feed Me
Golden Nuggets & Pot Pie
This lesson has two great recipes - Golden Nuggets which can be used in many different ways and Pot Pie. Golden Nuggets can be stored in the freeze in baggies and used for: stir fries, coat in BBQ and reheat in oven with fries, chopped into soup for "chicken" noodle soup, and much more.
You can use the traditional pastry in place of the biscuit topping or even use corn bread. For those recipes visit:

Caesar Salad
Delicious and nutritious. If you like garlic you will love this dressing. But if you prefer you can even leave the garlic out and add Italian Herbs for a Creamy Italian dressing.

Not just waffles but a whole breakfast lesson. Make your own homemade ice cream "Moon Mush" and blueberry topping for these simple and easy waffles!
