This course is for 16 - 18 year olds who want to gain new skills, improve confidence, self-esteem and progress onto further education programmes or employment. This programme also offers the chance to progress from previous Entry and Level 1 programmes.

Young people will enrol onto a programme with peers from a variety of backgrounds. Students will benefit from a stable and trusting environment, which will help them regain an appetite to succeed and move on with their lives. Students will have the opportunity to improve interpersonal and teamwork skills. Areas of study will include entrepreneurship and enterprise and preparation for work.

All students must attend a pre-course interview/taster before enrolment. At this point students will be assessed for suitability to participate in the programme. Additional needs must be highlighted at this point and additional support requirements will be discussed.

Students must actively participant in pre-course taster day/event.
Satisfactory, timely completion of College referral form and completion of individual risk assessment/medical protocol, including full disclosure of information must be completed/returned prior to start date if required.
