This one day course offers you an overview of Health and Safety law and how to assess/reduce unnecessary risks that may arise during the production lifecycle of a film from the start of development to the completion of post production. On successful completion of the course you will be qualified by Hannon Media Ltd to be a film production risk assessor for two years.
High standards of Health and Safety in production can only be achieved and maintained where individuals recognise and accept the different obligations and responsibilities that Health and Safety legislation places upon individuals and/or organisations. You will be encouraged to consider the need to establish appropriate organisational structures that support risk control and which place Health and Safety alongside editorial and/or dramatic considerations.
This course is designed for Producers, Production Managers, Directors, Assistant Directors and anyone who wants to make or work on a film.
