The aim of the course is to provide the person who may have a Health and Safety responsibility the opportunity to gain a professional vocational qualification in Health and Safety without significant time away from their workplace.
Mode-flexibleEntry RequirementsCandidates are required to possess NEBOSH or equivalent and have Health & Safety responsibilities at a managerial level.
Course Content
Modules include:·Promote a positive health & safety culture·Develop and implement effective communication systems for health & safety matters.·Identify, assess and control health & safety risk·Develop and implement proactive monitoring systems for health & safety.·Develop and implement reactive monitoring systems for health & safety·Develop and implement health & safety emergency response systems and procedures·Develop and implement health & safety review systems·Influence and keep pace with improvements in health & safety practice.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is in the form of continual assessment through the prodcution of a portfolio of evidence based around 10 modules. Candidates will be required to attend 5 group tutorials throughout the duration of the course, which will give guidance on compiling evidence for the relevant units. Between tutorials appointments witht he assessor will take place in the workplace or at the Lean Academy.
