2. Course description The Level 2 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care (HSC) is on-the-job training, working in any type of Health and Social Care setting.You will attend College one day a week, studying the Certificate in HSC, as well as English, ICT and Maths Functional Skills. The course can last for up to two years and you will be paid a wage by your employer.

Entry requirements You must have a job providing you with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week and paying a minimum of3.30 per hour--Desirable Requirements:----Maths GCSE Grade C/D--ICT GCSE Grade C/D--English GCSE Grade C/D-- 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method You will be observed in the workplace and will gather evidence to prove you can do the job at a Level 2 standard. You will complete set assignments to prove your knowledge of the profession and tests to prove your ability to apply English, Maths and ICT in everyday situations. Reviews are completed with your employer giving you regular feedback on your progress.
