What will I study?
This course is modular with six units studied across the year. Examples of the units studied are:
- Communication in Health and Social Care
- Individual Needs in Health and Social Care
- Creative and Therapeutic Activities
What will I achieve?
The course is comparable to four GCSEs grade A-C. On successful completion of the course you will be able to progress onto the advanced level.
How is the course assessed?
The course is assessed through a portfolio (coursework).
What else will I do?
Students get the opportunity to do voluntary work, visit hospitals and use the experience of visiting experts.
