six units.
Unit 1: Preparing to give quality care
Unit 2: Communicating with service users in care settings
Unit 3: Practical Caring
Unit 4: Hygiene and safety in care settings
Unit 8: Preparing to work with young children
Unit 9: Preparing to work with older service users

How is the course assessed?
A variety of assessment methods are used. There are no examinations. Students will do a minimum of 20 days work experience.
Fees
No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
What next?
You may progress to AS Level Health and Social Care. Alternatively, you may seek
employment in the care field.
