Health & Safety Online - COSHH

The training is made up of short videos that explain each point individually. The learner can answer short questions about each topic as they go, and ends with a multi-choice test. Training is completed in your own time. Learners may do part of the course, log out and then resume at a later date if required.

Section 1: Hazardous Substances

In this section the learner will look at what constitutes a hazardous substance, whose responsibility it is to manage COSHH safety and the importance of understanding the risks and protecting themselves.

Section 2: Warning Symbols

There is a standard system for labelling and classifying chemicals and hazardous products, this section looks at those symbols and what they mean. This will give the delegate the knowledge to know what precautions to use with hazardous products and how to use them safely.

Section 3: Hazards and Risks

In this section the delegate will learn how to identify possible hazards and the information that should be available to them for its safe use and storage.

Section 4: Protection

This section looks at recording incidences and, monitoring health hazards and what personal protective equipment they need to use.

Test:

This is a multiple choice test that demonstrates that the candidate has gained the knowledge and skills they need to fulfil that job role.
