About this course
A good standard of education, ideally with GCSEs C / D and above or equivalentA patient, enthusiastic and understanding natureAt least 1 - 2 years experience in a caring environmentExcellent verbal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Course programme
Tutored sessions will include powerpoints, videos, tutor led group discussions and group work. There is also a requirement of individual study, research and portfolio work. Home study and Witness testimonies from the workplace maybe required.
You may be able to progress onto the Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care which is a knowledge only qualification or Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care which is a competence qualification.
