Course Overview
This nationally recognised 2 year course prepares you for employment or higher education within the Health and Social Care profession. It is the equivalent of 3 A Levels. During the course you will attend vocational practice within Health and Social Care settings.   • Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care
  • Development Through the Life Stages
  • Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Social Care
  • Personal and Professional Development in Health and Social Care
  • Sociological Perspectives for Health and Social Care
  • Psychological Perspectives for Health and Social Care



Qualification Aims
To provide an in-depth understanding of Health and Social care that can be used to gain employment or lead onto higher education.

Assessments/Examinations
All of the units have an assignment attached that must be completed to at least a pass level for successful completion of the course.
