Summary

This course offers a comprehensive understanding to the Health & Social Care Sector, giving you the underpinning knowledge and skills to progress within this industry. In the first year you will study towards a BTEC level 3 Diploma, broadly the equivalent to 1.5 A Levels. If you Successfully complete this year you may be able to progress on to the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Health and Social Care. The Extended Diploma deepens the specialist work-related focus and is broadly the equivalent of 3 A Levels

Work experience is included as part of the course to give you a range of valuable practical experiences. It will also help build your confidence, knowledge and enhance your practical social care skills.
