Overview

This qualification builds on the ILM Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management and is more suited to the practising manager, due to the more challenging demands of the programme.

The programme consists of workshops, open learning, and written work for healthcare managers. Over nine months, each delegate must attend 8 one-day workshops. These are supplemented by 5 self-study workbooks which allow for creative, independent and flexible learning, combining management theory with exercises.

Delegates will have a programme adviser available to them throughout for advice, feedback and guidance.
