Higher Level Teaching Assistant Certificate Level 4 RQF

An HLTA has an increased level of responsibility within the classroom, more so than a standard teaching assistant.

Before you can complete this qualification, you must be working as a teaching assistant or be able to obtain voluntary or paid work experience in a school, as the role of an HLTA is to significantly improve the classroom and have impact on pupil progress. The time spent in the school should be a minimum of 50 hours.

Total Qualification Time (TQT) for this qualification 360 hours. Total credits for the qualification is 36.
