  • Introduction to Russian History and Culture
  • Introduction to the Russian Novel or Beginners' Czech

Year 2:

  • Histories and Theories of Art
  • Two optional units
  • Russian Language
  • One to three optional culture units (eg Dostoevsky, Russian Drama, Orthodox Culture, Russian Fairy)

Year 3:

  • Year abroad, studying or working

Year 4:

  • Dissertation (8,000 words)
  • Research Issues in Art History
