That with support and guidance form tutors will enable you to focus on your specialist area of interest within visual art practice in the second year of the course. You will build your practice by producing work through a response to a range of assignment based projects. This will build to a final self directed project in year 2 which will be assessed through an exhibition of your work. All units on the course are internally assessed and externally verified by BTEC. Each unit you achieve has a value of 15 or 20 credits and you will require 120 credits in total to achieve the HNC qualification in full.
