What may it lead to?The programme equips students for a choice of careers as Technical Engineers in areas such as computer systems development, industrial electronics communications engineering and electronic design and development or may alternatively lead to top up to an HND This qualification may be used as a pathway to registration with the Institute of Incorporated Engineers in Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and the Institute of Measurement and Control
Entry RequirementsApplicants must have at least one of the following: 1 A Level/Advanced GCE or 2 AS Levels in Maths, Physics, IT or Design Technology (for AS entry these must be at Grade B or above, with at least one in Maths or Physics) plus 5 GCSEs at C or above including Maths and English; a BTEC National Diploma/Certificate preferably in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent (Merit grades or above)
Work ExperienceYou will be encouraged to participate in work experience which usually involves a work based project
Additional Information & Other CostsDelivery is through lectures, seminars and tutorials, normally over three days a week
