Who the Course is For:
A Higher National Certificate is a vocational programme with a strong work related emphasis focusing on an in-depth theoretical analysis to the application of engineering principles and techniques. It provides a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in the modern engineering industry. It's intended for self motivated individuals looking to enhance their promotional prospects/further their education. It is delivered in part time study (1 day a week) over 2 years
Assessment:
By coursework, assignment, practical investigations, phase tests and end of unit examinations.
Course Leads To:
A top-up option is available to progress from a HNC to a Foundation Degree in one year part-time study.
