2. Course description A HNC in an engineering discipline is considered to be one of the benchmark qualifications for the industry. The programme of study has been designed to provide higher level skills and knowledge in the area of mechanical engineering. 3. Entry requirements 1. Successful completion of a relevant level 3 qualification (e.g BTEC Extended Diploma and/or A Levels) which meet a minimum of 160 UCAS points. 2. AS/ A-Level (Level 3) Maths required as a minimum and GCSE English at Grade C or above (or equivalent). 3. Applicants with professional experience will also be considered on an individual basis. 4. Equipment required Please enquire at your interview. 5. Assessment method Will be carried out by means of a number of assignments laboratory exercises course work and examinations.
