Entry Requirements
Entry requirements for the course are normally one of the following:
- 80 points from Advanced GCE (A2, AS) including and AS level pass in either mathematics, science, mechanics or computing, or
- 80 points from vocational A level(s) in engineering, manufacturing or science, or
- Appropriate BTEC National Diploma or Certificate in Technology or Engineering, or
- BTEC Ordinary National Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, equivalent or relevant GNVQs
If you have not obtained the required qualifications you can complete a one-year bridging course before starting the HNC, or other appropriate qualifications will be considered individually, including those offered by students returning to education.
