· Course Overview: · Where did the dot.com boom go? Will the housing market reach saturation point? What is the ideal work-life balance? What kind of manager would you make? What is going to change in the world of advertising? If you are interested in answering or debating some of these questions then this is the course for you. Study a variety of disciplines to develop your business skills and then specialise to meet your own personal goals and the needs of your existing or future employers. Edexcel Higher National programmes are modular and offer a wide choice of modules. You will study 16 modules on the HND. The Core Units include: � Marketing � Managing Financial Resources and Decisions � Organisations and Behaviour � Business Environment � Common Law � Business Decision Making � Business Strategy � Research project Eight optional units are taken from the following pathways, Marketing, Finance, Management, Human Resources, Law. The course is designed for those wishing to advance their career in business or progress to higher education. Progression to the BA(Hons) Business Study is available at Calderdale College.

Entry Requirements: · Applicants should possess BTEC National Certificate or BTEC National Diploma in a related subject or two A Level passes or one A Level pass with four GCSE grades A-C including English and Maths or relevant work experience. All applicants will be interviewed where you will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
