About this course
Two Higher Grade passes plus three Standard Grade (or Intermediate 2) passes. Alternatively, an appropriate group of SQA modules may be accepted. Applicants with relevant experience but no formal qualifications may also be eligible.

Progression Opportunities:
Articulation agreements exist with a number of universities, allowing successful students to progress directly to the third year of a relevant degree programme. This includes the possibility of continuing your studies at James Watt College to gain a Napier University degree with one further year of study in either: BSc Multimedia Technology or BSc Interactive Media Design.
Career Potential:
Successful candidates may pursue creative and/or development opportunities in web design, web development, multimedia and interactive content development, graphic design, programming, scripting, database design, development and management, animation or software engineering.
Course Assessment:
A range of continuous assessment techniques are utilised throughout the course, with a largely hands-on practical theme. Students will also undertake a Graded Unit towards the end of each year.
