MOVING AND HANDLING HOIST TRAINING
Course Content & Certificate

For staff who are required to use a hoist for client transfers.
Content: practical revision of safe handling principles – operation of the hoist Successful completion of the course gives a Training for Care Attendance Certificate which meets statutory requirements for risk reduction.

Tutors and Teaching
All tutors are TfC professional associates and health care professionals
(chartered physiotherapists or nurses) and are experienced in modern
approaches to manual handling.
Teaching is interactive and practical, and incorporates a problem solving
approach to moving and handling issues.
