About the course:
This course is designed for students who have 4 GCSEs at grade C or above and would like to study a broad range of catering and hospitality subjects in order to secure a job or higher education in the catering industry. The course is for full time study lasting two years.
Course Content:
The course covers cookery, food service, kitchen and restaurant management, finance, team leadership and hygiene and safety.
Learning Style:
Each unit is tested by assignment which involve realistic scenarios and working in the college kitchens and restaurants.
Equipment Requirements:
Students will need a full set of kitchen whites and knives with safety shoes. Total cost is approximately £150

Assessment is by assignment
Progression:
Students may progress to higher education or to employment in the catering industry.
