As experienced as we think we are in our chosen profession, or how travelled we are to Hostile or Hazardous Environments every individual must be prepared for the Mission.
The nature of your business, the organisation you work for that operates in areas of Post Conflict, areas of Civil Unrest, Natural Disaster Zones or Extremes of Climate all make you vulnerable to Robbery, Kidnap and Ransom or Serious Injury.
Titan Defence Services are on call to assist in the Threat Assessment of Depot and Storage facilities in addition to providing technical and physical advice on the security of Residences and Compounds. A full and detailed report is compiled detailing recommendations for all aspects of security from fixed manpower security through to electronic and mobile security ofconvoys and personnel.

- Personal Safety/Security (Travel-Residence-Hotel)
- Abduction-Kidnap-Hostage Taking-Illegal Detention
- Vehicle Preparation-Convoys-Checkpoints-Safety Equipment
- Ballistics Awareness, High/Low velocity - Crack/Thump
- Direct/Indirect Weapons, Grenades/Mortars/Artillery and Air Delivered Munitions
- Improvised Explosive Devices - Mines - Spent Ordnance
- Body Armour Types and maintenance
- Civil unrest areas
- Extremes of Climate - Heat / Cold and Medical Implications
- Navigation - Basic map Reading and Location Finding GPS
- Building and Compound Security
- Surveillance and Counter Surveillance awareness
- Field Hygiene - Water Purification
- Emergency First Aid
The Student is require to bring:
- Clothing appropriate for climate and conditions;
- Wind, rain, snow gear depending on time of year;
- Durable trousers, shirts, coat, headwear (e.g. baseball style hat; knee and elbow pads are optional; eye and ear protection etc);
- Good hiking shoes or boots;
- Open mind and good attitude.
