How to Lobby the Conservatives

With the General Election expected to take place in May 2010 and the pollsters widely anticipating a Conservative victory, this focused one-day public affairs action day will offer government relations professionals with guidance and insight into how to create strategy to deal with what many consider will represent a seismic change of critical proportions, shifting policy, politics and activity within public affairs.

Following on from previous specialized training events, emphasis will be placed on providing the attending delegates with as much practical information as possible, offering useful guidance on how outside organisations can best set out pro-active agendas of activity and successfully create strategies of engagement with the Tory Party.

The course will also offer detailed guidance on how to deal with the influx of new PPCs, analysis on the expected make up of the new Parliament post the General Election and discuss the challenges afoot due to the cultural shifts in political lobbying activity which a Conservative administration will engender for public affairs practitioners, once in power.
