Course review:
In the event of injury or sudden illness, failure to provide first aid could result in that person’s death. The employer should therefore ensure that an employee who is injured or taken ill at work receives immediate attention.
The First Aid at Work initial course is designed to give individuals competency through continued learning and final assessment in First Aid including basic life support techniques, meeting HSE standard to become a competent first aider in the workplace.
At the end of the course the delegate will be a competent and confident First Aider, and have a full understanding of the principles of first aid in a wide range of disciplines as laid down by the Health and Safety Executive.
