Description
Years 1 and 2 consist of the 7 core modules of a qualifying Law Degree; Contract Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, EU Law, Law of Tort and Public Law.
Year 3 will consist entirely of optional modules allowing you to shape your own learning.
Year 4 will specialise in Human Rights, with core compulsory modules combined with a wide variety of optional modules giving you the ability to structure your Masters qualification.

Each student is assigned an Academic Mentor to help with:

Personal Development Planning
Guidance on finding help with Personal Issues (which affect your wellbeing, attendance, and progress through University).
There are also student representatives in each year of our law programme as well as a School representative for undergraduate students. The school also has a dedicated student information office who will be able to offer academic assistance throughout your studies.
Societies
Meet your fellow students and take part in a variety of social opportunities by joining the Student Law Society and/or the Student Bar Society, which are both run for students, by students.

Entry Requirements
Our standard offer for our various Single honours and Joint Honours programmes is 3 A-Levels at grades ranging from AAB-BBB or equivalent.

International qualifications: International Students (non EU) and EU Students.
For applicants whose first language is not English we require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) further information can be found here.
Students accepted onto the MLaw will receive a reduction in fees for the final year.
