IBM DB2 11 for z/OS Performance Topics Training CourseThe information of this workshop is based on the IBM Redbooks publications DB2 11 for z/OS Technical Overview, SG24-8180 and the upcoming DB2 11 for z/OS Performance Topics. It will help you evaluate the contents of DB2 11 for z/OS both in terms of functions and performance and it will provide the type of information needed to start justifying and planning a migration. It describes the measurements implemented by the DB2 Performance Department and highlights the key performance functions setting the right expectations. A description of the DB2 Analytic Accelerator V4.1 is also provided with the accent on performance. This workshops is not a general DB2 performance and monitoring class and it is not a transition class about all DB2 11 functions.
