Course Aims:
If you are confused by financial jargon, have concerns about borrowing money and debt or want to learn how to manage your money better, then this course could be for you. The programme has been developed to help you become more confident about finance.
Course Content:
The course consists of:
One core unit - Personal Financial Planning
Two options units are then studied from Mortgages for Customers, Personal Borrowing and Debt Management, Managing Personal Financial Risk and Financial PLanning for Later Life.
Progression:
IFS Diploma in Personal Financial Planning
Awarding Body:
IFS School of Finance
Exam:
The assessment for each of the units studied comprises of 30 stand alone questions taken from the topics studied. The questions are multiple choice.
Qualification:
IFS Certificate in Personal Financial Planning
Level:
Level 2
Duration:
Three hours a week x 30 weeks.
