  • The course has been very useful to me this year. After failing to gain a place at University on leaving school Distance Learning offered me a second chance to obtain a place at University. My tutor was very good help beyond the maths coursework, offering studying advice and encouragement throughout the year. The notes provided are very effective in helping you gradually build up to exam level questions. I successfully gained a place at University after a year of studying A-level Maths with Open Learning (having Scottish Higher Maths to grade C before). It takes hard work and commitment to the course, but it's worth it in the end. I would advise this college to anyone in my situation and others interested in sitting and exams from home.
