Aims and Objectives
This ILM Level 2 Award aims to give current or potential team leaders the foundation for their formal development. The qualification does this by developing team leading skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level in a variety of relevant subjects.
Entry Requirements
Learners will
Normally be either current or aspiring team leaders with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands, and
Have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme – which is likely to be Level 1 skills in Literacy or Numeracy
Course Structure
To obtain the award, delegates must complete the mandatory unit and then can select from a series of optional units. Each unit has a credit value and the total for an award must be a minimum of 3 credits.
Any workshops undertaken for the award can also be counted towards the ILM Certificate in Team Leading for which 13 credits are required.
TheLightBulb offer the following workshops for learners wishing to undertake either the award or the certificate. Each workshop will be assessed using formal assessments at the end of each training day. These are all run as open courses at our site.

Training delivered at a customer site would require the organisation to decide in advance which optional units would best suit their needs and then all delegates on each course would be required to take the same units however additional units can be added to the course at an extra daily cost.
