How will I study?
• Project planning and implementation • Developing aims, SMART objectives and outcome focussed projects • Project scope and stakeholder analysis • Project tools and techniques for managing time, tasks and resource including Gantt charts and Work Breakdown Structures • Introduction to risk management • Introduction to return on investment, cost savings, financial viability and social return on investment
How will I be taught?
This is an intensive 1/2 day course over two Thursday afternoons between 1:30pm to 5:30pm. There are 2 start dates, either from 26 January 2017 to 2 February 2017; or 27 April 2017 to 4 May 2017. There is a good mix of students from different industries, background and experience at various levels which provides a lively environment for learning and sharing best practice.
How will I be assessed?
The qualification is 100% assignment based. The assignment of 1,500 words will describe the project management processes used to manage a simple workplace project and to understand the costs and benefits resulting and apply key project management tools and techniques.
