Course programme

A series of visual exercises that will inspire you to liberate your creative potential. Their experimental nature will enable you to develop your technique and manage colour and composition in a personal way as a part of the visual process of expressing imagination.

Ewa Gargulinska uses imagination extensively in her paintings. She will teach you how to find inspiration and use creative thinking through the medium of painting.

Topics covered

There will be an initial introductory talk and an interactive group workshop. They will prepare the ground for access to the world of the creative mind using text, sound, colour, music and acting.

The exercises will be given daily with a key word to which you'll respond spontaneously with your individual ideas and free associations.

Rather than limiting yourself to automatic responses and predictable solutions, you'll learn how to use creative intelligence to see and respond uniquely to stimuli.

You'll understand in practice the elements involved in the creative process - vision, intuition, imagination and technique - and what it takes to be an artist.

You'll gain the confidence to apply your awakened imagination into other areas of your life: to practice mindfulness, fully appreciate vision stimulus, and to explore the joy of imaginative thinking.
