IMI Accreditation Senior Paint - Re-accreditation

Who is this course for?

The Senior Technician should be working in the accident repair sector of the industry and have at least three years' experience to ensure they are familiar with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to give a fault free finish for both the preparation of panels (existing and new) and the finishing of panels to match exist vehicle paint.

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

Candidate must hold a current ATA Senior Paint Technician Certificate Or An NVQ level three in motor vehicle body refinishing which is less than three years old

How will I be assessed ?

By a series of 3 Practical Modules and one on line test Cosmetic Panel Alignment - AOM 002 AOM 002 MET - Complex - AOM 006 AOM 006 Panel Damage (Rectification) - AOM 029 AOM 029 Welded Panel/Section MAG/MIG Braze/Bond/Rivet - AOM 030 AOM 030 Rectify bodyshell misalignment (Setup, measure, adjust) - AOM 032 AOM 032 Aluminium Cosmetic Panel - AOM 034 AOM 034 Cold filler repair - AOM 048 AOM 048

What qualifications could I achieve ?

On successful completion you will achieve a reaccreditation for ATA Senior Paint Technician Certificate
