Many local garages and dealerships appreciate the high quality training that students at West Herts College receive and contact us when they need trainees and apprentices. Often garages that require 5 A-C grade GCSEs will employ students who have successfully completed the one-year full-time course.

The remaining course time is used to cover instruction in automotive theory, associated and applied studies including Key Skills and other subjects that are considered necessary to enhance the practical training given that will culminate in IMI examinations at the end of the year.
