Immediate Life Support Instructor (ILSi) Course

If you want to provide training in immediate life support, our one-day workshop in Chelmsford will help you to develop effective teaching skills. On successful completion, you'll receive a Resuscitation Council (UK) ILS instructor certificate which is valid for four years.

Our course features lectures, demos, skills practice, scenario teaching and role play.

Assessment on the course is continuous in nature – as is your personal development as an instructor. Once skills are learned they'll need to be honed through practice and experience. Following successful completion of the ILSi course, instructors should teach on a minimum two courses per year. You'll be able to make use of the ILS instructor logbook which you can take with you when you carry out ILS provider courses.
