A bit about the course...
A Two-Day Programme from the Scottish Quality Management Centre
Course description:
Most organisations have a quality management system of some kind but when they come to implement a formal QMS based on ISO9001:2008 they sometimes need assistance in how to do this in the most efficient way. This SQMC two-day course thoroughly covers the contents of the ISO9000 series, the “9001” Requirements, the Management Principles that provide its framework, and the methods necessary to apply the Standard effectively. Hours are 9am – 5pm both days.
Who should attend?
Managers involved in Quality Management systems within their organisation, i.e. staff at management level or those who will be affected by their QMS. Also, managers who want to know what to expect from an Internal Quality Audit!
Benefits
Participants will learn what is expected of them - as managers, or auditees - of a QMS. Training in ISO9001 provides delegates with a broader understanding of the key processes of an organisation, and of their Quality Policy and how it is implemented.
