Course programme

Import Starter

Import consignments that arrive in the UK are normally cleared through
Customs by freight forwarders at the ports/airports. Although Customs have
plans for more importers to become involved with the Customs clearance,
many importers do not have the required skills or knowledge to be able to
handle their imports effectively. In addition, many importers are paying Duty
when there could well be a Duty Relief opportunity where they can save money in the process.

This course will help identify these opportunities and provide guidance in how these regimes should be administrated
