How will I study?

You take taught modules. Assessment modes include literature review, portfolio of professional practice and presentation. You benefit from personalised one-to-one tutorial support (face-to-face and virtual) from faculty with relevant higher education expertise.

You develop your dissertation proposal and write a final dissertation on a topic of your choice. Alongside your taught modules, the Department of Education and its research centres offer an active programme of seminars presented by faculty and graduate students from Sussex and invited guests from around the world. You also take part in our annual Teaching and Learning Conference.
