Please ensure that you nails are cut short, and long hair tied back. Be aware that you will be working with oil, therefore professional tunic/workwear or older comfortable clothes should be worn.

Course programme

Indian head massage (IHM) is one of the most relaxing forms of massage. It involves the massage of the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face. You will learn about the history of IHM, about chakras, and how to perform a full IHM routine.

Indian Head Massage can be performed directly on the skin by applying oils or over the clothes. It usually is carried out in a seated position in any chair that allows shoulder massage. Alternatively, you can purchase a special Indian Head Massage/Mobile Massage chair or a table top portable massage unit.



Indian Head massage has been practised in India for thousands of years.

1 day course from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Pre-requisite : No previous experience necessary.
