Really lovely & friendly atmosphere & location perfect. Style of teaching excellant as you get to make, bake & decorate your own cakes with icing decorations also made that day.

Very pleased with whole service and the staff that make up the company! From initial enquiry through to the completiion I have been impressed & also cannot fault the service provided. I went with SDL on a trusted recommendation and it was certainly a good one! I met & discussed at length what I wanted to get out of it and then a plan was drawn up to achieve and regular contacts/visists ensued. Felt completely supported throughout and confident in my choice.
Dealt with real people who have real experience and a wide knowledge & are tireless in their desire to help you. Excellent value across the board (cost being lower than expected & based on current climate!) & being able to work as well as produce unit work was the key 'seller' for me and recommend this to others who have similar lives & schedules, who want to validate their experience and obtain a suitable high level qualification.

Realistic in attitude and planning - realise that individuals have work and life to contend with. Very responsive and understanding yet get results and consistently receive excellent feedback about them. Support offered to staff was bespoke and well received and unlike what we had previously experienced in the past from other companies. All fears were unfounded and realised quickly.
Staff have incredible knowledge and are personable and friendly and also install confidence and are pleasing in that they can offer literacy and numeracy included as well as confidence building also and this has been very useful! Secure and confident in their abililty at all times.
Actually do what they say they can do! They provide professional and qualified staff that have real work and life experience and are approachable and amenable an can deal with all ages and abilities. Staff known by name and were constant - communication was faultless at all times, Creative and fresh always. Frank and in-depth and create excellent solutions to training needs. Tailor each visit as required and work outside of traditional business hours to deliver their services and will do evenings and weekends if needed. Staff have been developed at the same time and have all recognised the need for C.Service and a consistent approach in dealing with clients and SDL used our business aims to take this forward & managed to translate them to a training course that also rewards with a national qualification - and this has really increased business & also has saved on recruitment & also helped retention.
We employ all ages & experiences and no one was left out! All staff reported being pleased with the services and gave positive evaluations that cited SDL as being very supportive, friendly and approachable at all times. Positive & encouraging feedback. We will continue to work with them.

Very much enjoyed the course - a very good mix of theory and practice that can be applied to many areas. SDL are experts in L&D - they are positive & encouraging while always seeking to negotiate and utilise holistic assessment methods that allow you to perform naturally. I had some RPL and this was addressed in my IAG/induction etc. so when I started I had a clear route to follow & was continuously supported with feedback to all work submitted. Will recommend them always - they provide insight & understanding, are courteous & professional and are actually enjoyable to work with.

The level is exactly right and the units available allow you to decide on a suitable route. Excellent discussion & planning and then assessment planning was the key to being successful and also the regular meetings and the contact options.
Knowledge was addressed by various methods that always seemed appropriate & using the holistic approach is really a winner!
Length of course is just about right as there is no rush but it is incredible how quickly it comes together under this method and I was impressed. QCF is completely understood and can transfer the knowledge gained.
Responsiveness and sheer customer service is consistently delivered. Pricings are highly competitive and worth every penny - in fact should be more looking at the competition. The feeling of confidence, motivation and empowerment to be able to succeed and quickly is rather special and I have remembered many things in undertaking this activity via reflection & discussion and also have learnt and want to develop more - mentoring received is fantasic! (Staff inc. Directors provide IAG, TNA, assessment & verification + you get to work with them - a great ethos!) We deceide that all frontline staff would benefit from undertaking this qualification -we negotiated this with SDL and decided on appropriate units to be taken including an extra unit that was over and above the full qualification but was very useful to us as a business. SDL were there to support and also to advise throughout and we are extremely pleased with the service and that all the staff now have a level 3 - it has and will continue to help our business.
